Ms. Palin, like many humans, is species-centric. To her, human life, in any form, be it embryonic or born, is precious. Other species, be it moose, salmon or turkey, is "food." Kill it and eat it. This is our "God given" right as the most advanced species on earth.

God forbid a more advanced species with superior technology finds our planet and sees humans as food. Ms. Palin takes a leap of faith and presumes the human species is the highest form of life in our vast, vast, universe. Apparently we have won the lottery of life and can consume all other non-human life forms. I wonder what Ms. Palin's God thinks of this arrogance?

That said, I probably will eat some turkey this Thanksgiving. But I will make sure to thank the turkey for giving it's life so I can prolong mine.
