No End in Sight
Great news! They killed the guy who masterminded the assemble-a-bomb-on-the-plane scheme.
Now that we have gotten rid of the bad apple, we bunch can once again have toothpaste and lotion on planes, right? What’s that you say? Never again?
You know, if inconvenience can be ranked with death on the scale of “Things That Ruin Your American Lifestyle,” then the terrorists have already won a million times over.

So this guy didn’t actually succeed in killing anyone and we’re “pretty sure” we wiped him out along with everyone else in the house using an unmanned predator missile. But we’re not really sure because everyone in the house was burned beyond recognition (wife and children, maybe?). Plus we wiped out another 25 houses with predator missiles in the last couple of months. And those houses were occupied by? Why don’t we just drop a nuke on the country and get it done with?
As far as having tootpaste and lotions on planes again — ha ha ha.
Zipcars raised their rates a few months ago because the price of gas had skyrocketed. The price of gas has dropped almost half since then. Has Zipcars now dropped their rates because the price of gas has gone down? Do they plan to? You guess.
